Officer Holmes has spent over 30 years in the United States Navy, active and reserve duty. While in the armed forces, he has served in approximately 50 countries. Officer Holmes is married with one son. When he is not patrolling, he enjoys serving as an ordained deacon at Mount Zion Baptist Church in South Lebanon, working with youth groups at Sunday school and riding with the Blue Knights motorcycle club for law enforcement in Dayton, Ohio. He enjoys working in Waynesville with the friendly, down-to-earth people.
