Waynesville Police Department

Ramsey is a German Shepherd born in August 1999. In the fall of 2000, he started his training in tracking with the help from friends and a grandson who didn’t mind being told to get lost and having Ramsey track him. His training continued and by March 2004, Ramsey became a part of the Waynesville Police Department. Ramsey is certified in tracking, drug detection, cadaver, and article search. Ramsey has been successful in all areas of his training. Ramsey has been called out to assist other departments in and out of the county. Ramsey also has been called to give demos to schools and clubs in Warren County.
