Waynesville Police Department

Officer Franklin graduated Scarlet Oaks Police Academy in 1997. He has been with Waynesville since 2008, but began his career with Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office in 1998. He became a Self-Defense Instructor, and taught many academies for the Sheriff. Officer Franklin has also attended the FBI’s Hostage Negotiations course, and served as a Negotiator for Butler County Sheriff’s Office. He was also a member of the Honor Guard for the Sheriff’s Offices for 6 years. Officer Franklin enjoys his free time with his family.
